New Delhi: Union Law Minister Kapil Sibal on Saturday took a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party`s (BJP) prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, and said that his surname stands for `Model of Dividing India.`

Sibal further reportedly said that BJP leaders and party supporters are spreading morphed pictures on social media as part of their communal propaganda.

He accused BJP leaders of inciting violence in Assam where recent militant attack left over 32 people killed in the state.

The Gujarat Chief Minister had earlier hit out at Congress during his rally in Punjab and said that the term `ABCD` had become a symbol of corruption by Congress party with `A` referring to Adarsh scam and `B` denoting Bofors.
Sibal`s scathing attack came after Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi said that thousands of people lost their lives during the rule of NDA in terror violence as compared to 800 lives lost under UPA rule in the last five years.

Even Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had earlier targeted Modi without taking his name and said that he wants power and “makes repeated demands to strengthen him.”
Referring to `Yeh dil maange more` phrase, she said that the Gujarat Chief Minister is not tired of asking for votes.
