Cong disrupts Governor`s speech in Guj assembly budget session

Opposition Congress restrained Gujarat Governor Dr Kamla from delivering her speech in the State Assembly during the budget session, which began here today, by shouting anti-government slogans.

Gujarat Governor Dr Kamla from delivering her speech in the State Assembly during the budget session, which began here today, by shouting anti-government slogans.
When Dr Kamla started addressing the session, Congress
members shouted slogans "farmers are committing self
immolation while mafia is ruling". The issue pertains to a
farmer Jabbardan Gadhvi from Rapar taluka of Kutch district,
who took the extreme step when as he was denied information
under RTI on his land.

As Congress MLAs continued to shout slogans, Governor
had to cut short her speech and leave the House.
After the Governor left, Congress MLAs went to the lobby
of the House and carried on with the anti-Narendra Modi
government slogans. They also displayed placards against the
ruling BJP.

Leader of Opposition Shaktisinh Gohil said, "Governor`s
speech was nothing but a lecture praising the work done by the
Modi government. So we decided to raise our voice."
