Four killed in road accident near Rajkot

Rajkot: Four persons were killed and five
others injured when a truck carrying them overturned near
Jasdan town here early this morning, police said.

The incident occurred when the truck, laden with cotton,
overturned, killing four persons on the spot, they said.

All the four deceased identified as Kailash Otham (30),
Anutha Gujrish (50), Jagdish Mukhiya (35) and Saraj Mukhiya
(35) hailed from Bihar`s Madhuani district and had been in
Saurashtra since last couple of years as labourers, police

Five others, who sustained critical injuries, were first
admitted at Jasdan civil hospital from where they have been
shifted to the Rajkot civil hospital, they said, adding that
further investigations are on.
