PM Modi to inaugurate 'Vibrant Gujarat' : Saurabh Patel

Gujarat's Finance and Civil Aviation Minister, Saurabh Patel, confirmed on Wednesday that the upcoming 'Vibrant Gujarat' summit will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

New Delhi: Gujarat's Finance and Civil Aviation Minister, Saurabh Patel, confirmed on Wednesday that the upcoming 'Vibrant Gujarat' summit will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Patel told ANI, " PM Modi will be there and will be inaugurating this function. 'Vibrant Gujarat' started in 2003 on a very small note. This event takes place two times in a year.Again in January 11th and 12th we will be having 'Vibrant Gujarat' 2015."

"We expect many international delegations to come. So what we are doing is to make these delegates participate in different seminars held in both the state and the national level," he added.

Talking of the investments expected to take place in the summit, Patel said, "It is not investments alone in the state, this is an international event and when an international event takes place in Gandhinagar, we are expecting other states also to showcase their state. That is the most important thing."

"So when states participate in ' Vibrant Gujarat', the investments which are possible in that state can also be showcased. So it is not the question of investments only in Gujarat but in the whole country," Patel added.

Confirming about the road show ahead of this summit, he said, "The road show is on 27th and our Chief Minister is herself going to come for the road show."
