Jaipur: Expanding the ambit of probe into
Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter killing case in Gujarat, CBI
wants to question senior IPS officer of Rajasthan Rajiv Dasot.
"A CBI letter to this effect has come to the DGP office
with a request to send IGP Dasot, who was earlier posted in
Udaipur, to Mumbai on May 16/17 for questioning and discussion
related to Sohrabuddin case", DGP H N Meena told agency here.
Asked whether any other police officer was also wanted by
CBI the DGP said "noone else's name is mentioned in the
letter".
In Sohrabuddin fake encounter killing case, a senior IPS
officer of Rajasthan Dinesh M N was arrested in 2007 and he is
in now Sabarmati jail.
