Constable shoots teacher over money dispute in Haryana

 A teacher was allegedly shot at by a constable in the school premises over a money dispute at Dariawala village in Haryana, police said today.

Jind: A teacher was allegedly shot at by a constable in the school premises over a money dispute at Dariawala village in Haryana, police said today.

Ajit, a constable posted with the Haryana Police today shot Rajender, a government school teacher in the premises of the school at Dariawala village here over a tussle regarding money, Jagbir Daghiya, Incharge, Sadar police station said.

The teacher, a resident of Dayal Bagh colony was seriously injured after the incident, police said, adding that the constable was also attacked by other teachers of the school.

Both the constable and teacher have been admitted to a hospital, Dahiya said.

DSP Dharamveer Puniya, CIA incharge Ashok Kumar and other officials reached the venue after the incident was reported, police said.

Further probe into the matter is on, they added.
