Chandigarh: The Election Commission of India
has directed the Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana to install
video or CCTV cameras outside the strong rooms.
In a communication addressed to the Chief Electoral
Officer, Haryana, the Election Commission further added that
round-the-clock video filming of the strong room or sealed
doors and entrance should also be done and such video
recording should be kept in safe custody, an offical spokesman
said here today.
