Faridabad: A constable has been arrested for
allegedly raping a minor at gun-point, police said on Friday.
In a complaint to police commissioner, a 16-year-old girl
had alleged that Virendra, who was working as a computer
operator in a police station in Ballabgarh, had raped her at
gunpoint last year when he was posted in Old Thana and had
been sexually exploiting her since on a false promise of
marrying her.
After an inqury into the allegation, Virendra was arrested
this morning and produced before the magistrate who remanded
him in judicial custody.
The constable had been suspended, they said.
