New Delhi: Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Friday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has kept its promise of setting up a commission to probe into the controversial land deals of Robert Vadra with the DLF group, adding that the truth of the transactions will soon be out.

"The BJP had said before and after the Assembly polls that they'll hold an inquiry into the efforts made by the previous state government to favour Robert Vadra. Now that a commission has been appointed to look into this, I'm confident the truth will come out in six months," Anil Vij told the media.

The Haryana government has constituted a commission to probe the land deals of Robert Vadra during the previous Congress rule in the state.

Former Delhi High Court judge Justice (retired) Dhingra has been appointed as chairman of the newly formed commission, which will probe into undue favours made to certain builders, including Vadra Skylight hospitality by the then-government. The panel will submit its report to the government as early as possible but not later than six months.

Earlier, the CAG had alleged that Vadra's firm was one of the nine companies in the area which had not submitted documents on financial adequacy.
