Karnal(Haryana): Hailing the Red Cross
Society for its efforts in mitigating the sufferings of
humanity, Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia on Sunday appealed
students to come forward and get associated with the
organisation.
Pahadia, who was speaking in a state level function
organised to mark World Red Cross Day here, said that today we
should resolve to dedicate ourselves to the selfless service
to humanity.
"All students should be motivated for doing public
service and a system should be evolved so that the citizens
could get linked with the organisations like Red Cross Society
even after completing their studies," he said.
The theme of Red Cross Day of this year `Find the
Volunteer Inside You` could be realised only if all the
citizens contributed their might in the service to the people,
he added.
