Visit eight villages a month, Haryana CM tells officials

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Monday directed all deputy commissioners (DCs) and superintendents of police (SPs) to remain punctual and give maximum time to redressing the grievances of people promptly.

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Monday directed all deputy commissioners (DCs) and superintendents of police (SPs) to remain punctual and give maximum time to redressing the grievances of people promptly.

The chief minister directed that DCs and SPs should visit at least two villages every week (eight in a month) together so that problems and grievances could be resolved on the spot.

Khattar was addressing a conference of DCs and SPs here.

He said DCs and SPs should be present in their offices from 11 a.m. to 12 noon daily to redress grievances.
