BJP gives privilege notice over CM`s remarks in Himachal

The opposition BJP in Himachal Pradesh Tuesday gave a notice for breach of privilege to the speaker against Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for his remarks against its legislators.

Shimla: The opposition BJP in Himachal Pradesh Tuesday gave a notice for breach of privilege to the speaker against Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for his remarks against its legislators.
"A notice was given to Speaker B.B.L. Butail over Virbhadra Singh`s remarks against the party legislators," leader of opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal told reporters here.

He said the chief minister, in his press briefing Monday, labelled all the BJP members "as bonded labourers of one family".
Chief whip of the BJP Legislature Party Suresh Bhardwaj said all 26 party legislators are signatory to the notice over the chief minister`s remarks.
