Cong afraid of bringing back black money: BJP

BJP said the Congress feared exposure of the names.

Dharamsala: BJP on Monday accused the Congress of
being against the return of black money stashed in banks
abroad as it feared exposure of the names.

"Rs 300 lakh crore of black money is lying in foreign
banks. This money must be called back as per the UN convention
against corruption, but the Congress-led government is not
conveying its consent on the result of this convention," BJP
national vice president Shanta Kumar said here.

There are two factions in Congress -- one wants black
money back in the country and the other does not, said Kumar,
who held a satyagraha here along with party leaders from
Kangra.

He demanded that all the black money stashed in banks
abroad must be brought back to the country and should be
declared as national property.

"The mood of the Congress government shows that even the
Lokpal bill will be kept lingering on," he claimed.

Kumar said the action in Delhi on Baba Ramdev and his
supporters was the worst case of brutality since independence
and equal to the Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi.
