Address atrocities on Dalits, Kashmir unrest, price rise in Independence Day speech: Kejriwal dares PM Modi

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to speak on atrocities on Dalits, Kashmir unrest, farmers' suicides and price rise in his forthcoming Independence Day speech.

"Sir, please speak on dalit atrocities, gau rakshaks, Kashmir, Akhlak, farmer suicides, daal price. People dying to hear you on these," Kejriwal tweeted today.

The suggestion came after PM Modi asked on social media for ideas for his August 15 speech.

"My 15th August speech should represent the voice of 125 crore Indians. Share your ideas for the speech on (Narendra Modi) mobile app", Modi said.

It is to be noted that Kejriwal, the National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, is long engaged in an acrimonious power struggle in Delhi against the BJP-led central government.
