New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union president Kanhaiya Kumar, who was put behind bars for 20 days on sedition charges, has now now decided to write a book on his journey from a village in Bihar to the jail stint.
As per ToI, the book will be titled 'Bihar to Tihar'.
The 28-year-old JNUSU leader, whose spunky speech to students after getting conditional bail went viral on social media, was quoted as saying that he had signed a contract with a publisher for the book.
The book will be released both in Hindi and English.
"I will be completing the book before the start of the next semester," he added.
Kanhaiya, who is a PhD scholar of African studies, informed that the story would be "in the social context of an oppressive society".
Kanhaiya Kumar grew up in Betia village of Begusarai district. He faces sedition charges over alleged anti-national slogans raised on campus during a February 9 event.
