New Delhi: A major controversy erupted on Monday over Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's ambitious odd-even scheme. And, the man in the eye of the storm is Delhi's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.

What's the matter?

BJP on Monday lashed out at the AAP government and accused it of of double standards.

BJP alleged that deputy CM Manish Sisodia had reached office in an even-numbered car with a UP numberplate; it would send a wrong message to people, according to a report in TOI.

"Sisodia's action would encourage people to buy a second vehicle," BJP alleged.

The last digit of Manish Sisodia's vehicle is an odd number while he allegedly travelled in an even-numbered vehicle giving birth to the controversy .

Manish Sisodia's clarification

His office has rejected the charge saying that he had merely shared a ride with a professor from Maharaja Agrasen College where he had to attend a function.
