New Delhi: The Directorate General (DG) of Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday briefed NSA Ajit Doval on the ceasefire violations by Pakistan.

India had earlier in the day lodged a protest with the Pakistan High Commission over the two consecutive ceasefire violations by the country in Jammu and Kashmir's Akhnoor sector.

In response, Pakistan's Foreign Office summoned Indian High Commissioner Dr TCA Raghavan to lodge strong protest over air space violation at Banchirian Sector yesterday after an Indian spy drone allegedly intruded into the Islamic republic's air space, violating the International Law, the country's territorial integrity, the two Agreements of 1991 on Air Space Violation, and SOPs of Advance Notice for Military Exercises, Military Maneuvers and Troops Movement.

The UAV was brought down by Pakistani troops.
