Delhi: India is all set to tighten the grip around underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

As per a report in Aaj Tak, the Enforcement Directorate has made legal appeals to six countries to seize properties that the mafia don owns there.

India has supposedly sent Letters Rogatories  to United Kingdom, Australia, UAE, Turkey, Cyprus and Morocco.

The LRs is said to have details like sale deed and agreement papers of the mafia don's properties.

Evidences of money laundering have also been provided.

The underworld don will not be able to use any of these assets if they are seized.

The media house said that due to matters of secrecy, the ED has not given them documents but the news they claim is authentic.

Not only this, India has reportedly told Britain that Dawood wants to make UK the den of underworld activities much like he did in Dubai and few African countries.

Dawood is said to be the mastermind of 1993 Mumbai serial blasts and is suspected to be living in Karachi.

However, despite India giving many dossier to Pakistan on the mafia don, it has been maintaining that Dawood is not in their country.

There is also an Interpol red corner notice against the underworld kingpin for his role in the 1993 blasts.

In 2003, US designated him as a global terrorist with links to terror groups.
