Pathankot: An Indian national has been arrested from Pathankot for allegedly spying for Pakistan, the Punjab Police said on Tuesday.

As per NDTV, the man arrested following an intelligence input was working for Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence or ISI.

Irshad Ahmed was employed as a labourer at the Indian Army's 29 Division Headquarter in the Mamoon Cantt in Pathankot.

Just last month, the Indian Air Force's base at Pathankot was attacked by terrorists.

The report said the police have recovered pictures of several key installations from Irshad's mobile.

Security agencies are probing if there was any link between Irshad and last month's terror attack in Pathankot.

As per the report, Irshad had been instructed by his Pakistani handlers to collect photographs of all sensitive installations and equipment inside the cantonment.

According to NDTV, the information was being passed on to Irshad's Indian handler, Sajjad, in Jammu.

Sajjad was nabbed from Jammu recently for possessing arms illegally.
