New Delhi: In what raises serious questions on the security of sensitive information in the corridors of power in Delhi, a report claimed on Monday that the Ministry of Defence had uncovered snooping in South Block in February 2014.

Sources said that a conversation between the then defence minister AK Antony and then Army chief Bikram Singh on deployment of forces along Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan borders got leaked.

Shockingly, the military intelligence later discovered that Pakistan’s ISI knew some part of the decisions arrived at the meeting between Antony and Singh.

Reports said that the expose had led to a debugging operation in South Block and CCTVs installed.

Besides the Ministry of Defence, the South Block also houses the Prime Minister's Office and the External Affairs Ministry.
