Minor reshuffle in CBI

 New CBI Director Anil Kumar Sinha on WEdnesday effected a minor reshuffle in the senior positions of the probe agency.

New Delhi: New CBI Director Anil Kumar Sinha on WEdnesday effected a minor reshuffle in the senior positions of the probe agency.

Joint Director Ashok Tiwari has been relieved of additional charge of Policy Division which also handles media and public relations.

Another Joint Director RS Bhatti, who was in charge of Special Crime Unit which probed the Badaun case,?will now take over as full fledged Chief of Policy Division.

The additional charge of Special Crime Unit has been given to Joint Director Neena Singh who is also the head of the Special Task Force of the agency.

Sinha, a 1979-batch IPS officer, today took over the reins of CBI at a time when the agency is facing criticism from courts over its handling of probe in coal allocation and 2G scams.

58-year old Sinha has been with the CBI for 21 months as Special Director and had supervised the Saradha chit fund probe.
