New Delhi: Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday dubbed Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi's meeting with the street vendors in the national capital to be a 'part time political drama' of a 'part-time politician'.
"This is just a part time political drama of a part time politician. It is not meant for the progress and prosperity of the nation. We, the Bharatiya Janata Party, have formulated laws for the hawkers for their permanent progress and prosperity, to make sure their problems are addressed. He is not aware of these issues, hence is busy in part time political drama," Naqvi told ANI here.
The Congress vice president, who met the street vendors here in the Raghubir Nagar area of the national capital earlier, said that the poor in Delhi are being sidelined from the city.
The Gandhi scion was accompanied by Congress leaders Ajay Maken and PC Chacko.
