New Delhi: Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Thursday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to impose AFSPA in New Delhi in connection with National Herald case proceedings on December 19, 2015.

Taking to Twitter, Swamy wrote, “Today I am going to ask the PM to declare New Delhi district as disturbed and impose AFSPA for an orderly court proceeding in Patiala House.”

Congress president and vice-president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will be appearing for the case at the Patiala House Courts on Saturday.

Swamy, who is certain that both mother and son will go to jail, doubts that problems can be created by the party.

According to reports, Youth Congress workers have already been directed to appear in large numbers to support the two top leaders of the party.
