"NCW at New Delhi is now a deserted and isolated place as there is no one to receive you nor anyone to visit the Commission," she said.

"In my tenure, the Commission conducted activities for empowerment of women and security across the nation," Sharma claimed.

She was speaking to mediapersons at her residence here today.

"The complaints were lodged daily and action upon them were taken in my tenure," she said, adding, now NCW is an abandoned and isolated place.
