New Delhi: The recent documents about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, which were declassified by the government of India last week, have raised several questions about his death and role of Indian government after it. Questions are also being raised about the role of then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's role in solving the mystery surrounding Netaji's death.
In a letter to Louis Fischer - a close aide of then US President, Mahatama Gandhi's secretary Khurshid Naoroji apprises him about the a secret meeting between two Army officers Major Young and Mokwright on April 8, 1946, where they were discussing about a letter by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
In his letter to PM Nehru, Netaji told him that we was in Russia.
This letter points out several questions like- Was PM Nehru aware that Netaji did not die in the plane crash in 1945? Did PM Nehru hide the truth about Netaji being alive?
