Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said that there is no place for violence in democracy, calling upon the youth to wipe out bloodshed from the country.

Guwahati: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said that there is no place for violence in democracy, calling upon the youth to wipe out bloodshed from the country.

Speaking at the National Youth Festival in Guwahati, Singh said that the government shall not negotiate with any groups indulging in violence , adding that the Centre and state governments will cooperate to provide employment to the youth.

The minister also hailed Swami Vivekananda as an inspiration to the youth, recalling the role played by the spiritual leader in world peace.
