President accepts Raosaheb Dadarao Danve's resignation

New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday accepted the resignation of union minister Raosaheb Dadarao Danve with immediate effect, an official statement said.

"The president, as advised by the prime minister, has accepted the resignation of Raosaheb Dadarao Danve, Minister of State in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, from the Council of Ministers, with immediate effect," it said.

Danve had resigned on Thursday.
