New Delhi: Hitting back hard at the Congress in Parliament, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley dubbed Rahul Gandhi as an “expert without knowledge”.
Speaking in the Lok Sabha after Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Sushma Swaraj, Jiatley said the Congress is making a mountain out of a mole hill. “I want to make it clear that government completely rejects the allegations that have been imposed by Kharge ji and Rahul ji,” Jiatley said.
“Without an issue you (Congress) waste an entire session of Parliament..the real reason is that you ran a failed government and when things are looking up in India you want to sabotage the India growth story,” he said.
Training his guns on Rahul Gandhi, Jaitley said, “The difficulty with Rahul Gandhi is that he is an expert without knowledge.”
On Congress' allegations that Sushma Swaraj's daughter was a counsel for Lalit Modi, Jiatley said that Bansuri was a junior counsel and had gone for a hearing in the Lalit Modi case under instructions from her senior.
”There are many people in this country whose children have to work for a living,” Jaitley said, adding that there are 'others' who have lived for generations without working. “They have learned the art of living comfortably without working, some of us have not,” he said.
