SSC to conduct CGL Tier-I re-examination on August 30

New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be reconducting the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2015 (CGL) Tier-I examination on August 30.

Initially, the SSC had conducted the CGL Tier-I exam on August 9. But, the Commission decided to reconduct the exam after printing errors were noticed in a few set of question paper booklets.

A total of 2,030 candidates will be required to re-appear for the exam.

“It has come to the notice of the Commission that a particular series of question paper booklets distributed in the Northern Region (in cities other than Delhi) had some printing errors,” the SSC had said in a release.

“The Commission had decided to call such candidates for a re-examination on 30th August, 2015 in Forenoon Session, who had actually appeared and had such errors in the Question booklets provided to them,” the release added.

Candidates reappearing for the exams should carry their admit cards.

The re-examination will be held at Delhi and Jaipur centre only.

SSC also said that “if a candidate does not appear in the re-examination, his/her OMR sheets of the examination held on August 09 will be evaluated”.
