Terrorists spotted near LoC in Pak Ranger uniforms, planning major attacks to avenge surgical strikes: Report

New Delhi: Several terrorists are roaming the launch pads at Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan Ranger uniforms and are planning to launch a major strike in India to avenge surgical strikes by Indian Army, according to Intelligence Bureau (IB) sources.

A plan for major attacks across India by Pakistan-backed terrorist group Lashkar-e-Toiba has been intercepted by Indian intelligence agencies, sources said. Parliament along with Delhi Secretariat, Akshardham temple, and Lotus Temple are the prime target of terrorists, who may also carry out a fidayeen attack, the source said.

The intelligence agency and the Jammu and Kashmir CID have been alerted about Jaish planning another spectacular attack on Parliament. If reports are to be believed, at least three Pakistan-based terror groups are planning to infiltrate and make their way in India.

According to another media report, Pakistan Intelligence Agency (ISI) has reportedly asked cadres of terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad to go to any extent to revenge India's surgical strikes against terrorist launch pads across LoC on September 29.

As per the intercepts tapped by Intelligence Agency, a Lashkar associate Fatima is heading one of the groups of militants and is receiving instructions from Lashkar-e-Toiba chief.

26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed’s right hand Sajid Jat Nomi is believed to be supervising the movement across the border, whilst Abu Dojani is responsible for terrorists' activities in India, sources added.
