3 killed, 26 injured as passenger bus slips into river Chenab

Jammu: 3 persons were killed and 26
others injured when a bus skidded off the road and rolled
down into Chenab river in Doda district on Wednesday, police said.

The bus, which was on its way from Jammu to Kishtwar,
skidded off the road at Prem Nagar, about 180-kms from here,
they said.

The rescue teams have so far extricated three dead and
26 injured persons from the accident site, they said, adding
the injured were rushed to the district hospital at Doda for
treatment.
