New Delhi: With early trends showing the BJP leading in Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir as the counting of votes began on Tuesday, its senior leader Tarun Vijay said that it is the victory of people of in both states who have voted for development and change.
“It is the victory of people in J&K, Jharkhand. People here have voted against dynasty politics preferring development and change,” Tarun Vijay said.
“People in J&K have to be saluted for coming out in large numbers to vote, it is a victory for India,” he said.
“The trends show that voters in two states have given overwhelming support to the BJP. We salute the people in J&K, Jharkhand for their unconditional support to my party,” the BJP MP said.
Vijay, however, went to the extent of saying that after conquering J&K and Jharkhand, BJP's next target will be Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
“After sweeping J&K and Jharkhand, our next target will be Tamil Nadu and the West Bengal,” Tarun Vijay said.
