Batote-Kishtwar highway remains close for second day

Jammu: Batote-Kishtwar highway in Jammu and
Kashmir`s Doda district remained close for vehicular traffic
for the second consecutive day on Thursday due to landslide, police
said.

Hundreds of vehicles were stranded on the highway since
yesterday following a landslide, triggered during widening of
road stretch at Ragi Nallah, about 150 km from here, they
said.

Work is on to clear the landslide, they said.
