Jammu: Criticising the decision of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) to curtail the period of yatra to 39 days this year, Shri Ram Sena on Thursday threatened to launch an agitation if the duration was not increased.
"We demand that the Shrine Board should review the decision in the interest of the pilgrims, who come from all over India to pay obeisance to Lord Shiva," Shri Ram Sena state president Rajiv Mahajan told reporters here.
The Sena also threatened to launch an agitation against the decision of the Shrine Board. The duration of the yatra last year was 46 days.
