Srinagar: Father of one of the youth killed in army firing on Monday in Budgam district of Kashmir today said ends of justice will be served when the killers of his son are brought to justice.
"Justice will be done when those who killed my innocent son in cold blood are brought to the book," Mohammad Yousuf, father of Faisal Yousuf, told PTI.
Yousuf said the developments so far do not indicate that the soldiers who shot his son and his friend to death will face the law.
"The army commander today admitted that it was a mistake and that soldiers had fired upon these children traveling in a car.
"Those who opened firing should be behind bars, not in their barracks," he said.
Commenting on the Rs 10 lakh compensation announced by the Defence ministry, Yousuf said no riches of the world would be enough to compensate the loss of his son.
"Will Rs 10 lakh bring back my son? Even all the riches of the world won't do," he added.
