BSF, Pakistani Rangers hold meeting in RS Pura

A five member BSF team discussed issues related to ceasefire violation with a four-member Pak Rangers's team in a cordial manner.

Jammu: The Border Security Forces (BSF) and Pakistani Rangers held casual contact meeting, second in less than a week, along International Border (IB) in RS Pura sector of Jammu district on Sunday.

A casual contact level meeting was held between Pak Rangers and BSF at Octerio Border Out Post (BOP) along International Border in RS Pura sector from 1510 hours to 1513 hours today, BSF sources told PTI.

A five member BSF team discussed issues related to ceasefire violation with a four-member Pak Rangers's team in a cordial manner.

The two sides committed to maintenance of peace along the border.

On November 3, a Commandant-Commander-level meeting of the Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers was held in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir to reiterate commitment to peace along the Indo-Pak border during cultivation by farmers on both sides.
