Hurriyat should come forward to solve Kashmir issue: Farooq

Union minister for New and Renewable Energy Dr Farooq Abdullah urged the Hurriyat Conference to participate in dialogue process to find a lasting solution to the Kashmir problem.

Energy Dr Farooq Abdullah urged the Hurriyat Conference to
participate in dialogue process to find a lasting solution to
the Kashmir problem.

"Hurriyat should take part in the dialogue process in
finding a lasting solution to the Kashmir issue. Time has come
that all the parties should come forward and contribute their
bit in solving this," Dr Abdullah said in Kishtwar, 235-kms
from here.
He said that much bloodshed has been witnessed by the
people of the state and everybody should shed-off their
prejudices and work for a "lasting and amicable solution" so
that everlasting peace and prosperity returns to state.

Terming Indo-Pak friendship vital for the people of the
sub-continent and especially to the people of the state,
Abdullah appealed to leaders of both the nations to resume the
composite dialogue.
