Srinagar: As many as 23 people were injured when a bus turned turtle after hitting a road side tree in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
The mini-bus overturned when the driver, Shaukat Ahmad Hajam, lost control of the vehicle near Ashmuqam, 68 kms from here, after hitting a tree, a police spokesman said.
The driver and 22 passengers were injured in the accident and were shifted to a nearby hospital, he added.
