Srinagar: A man was killed on Saturday and 10 others were injured when a vehicle turned turtle during an election campaign in Nowgam area.
The vehicle, which was part of motorcade of PDP candidate from Chadoora Javed Mustafa Mir, turned turtle at Suthsoo in Nowgam area this afternoon, a police official said.
He said Ghulam Qadir, a resident of Pohru, died on the spot, while 10 others were injured in the mishap in central Kashmir's Budgam district.
All the injured have been hospitalised and are in stable condition, he said.
