Militant arrested for attacking J&K police station

Militants had fired a rifle grenade at Sopore police station, resulting in injuries to six persons including a policeman.

Srinagar: Police on Saturday said it has arrested the youth who had fired the rifle grenade at Sopore police station in north Kashmir`s Baramulla district.
Tanveer Ahmad Seeru who carried out the attack on Sopore police station yesterday has been arrested, a police spokesman said, adding Seeru was also involved in several incidents of stone-pelting last year.
