Militants planning to attack Kashmir Valley: Reports

Srinagar: Even as protests continue to rock Kashmir, militants are planning to infiltrate from across the border and launch terror strikes in the valley, according to reports on Sunday.

The attacks are being planned with the help of Pakistan's ISI, who are training the militants.

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) had reportedly issued an alert to the Ministry of Home Affairs last month about a possible infiltration bid and terror attack by the banned militant outfits Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen in Samba and Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The LeT terrorists had also set up terror camps barely three kilometers near the Jammu border.

Border Security Force (BSF) had submitted the report to the Home Ministry in this matter too.
