New political outfit for youth launched in J&K

 A new political outfit was launched today to address the issues of the youth in the Valley.

Srinagar: A new political outfit was launched today to address the issues of the youth in the Valley.

'Jammu and Kashmir Itihad-ul-Muslimeen' was announced by a group of youth promising to focus on the issues of the younger lot.

"Ours is the first youth mainstream political party in the Valley. Till now there have been youth wings in political parties but they exploited the youth for their rallies only," Mudasir Tantray, president of the outfit told reporters here.

Tantray, who unsuccessfully contested the assembly polls from Langate constituency of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir, said the party would focus on the issues of youth like employment generation, removal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), the needs of handicapped and better use of resources.
