Jammu: Terming the PDP-BJP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir as "unholy", the Congress today asked the party's youth cadre to expose them and said that both the parties formed the coalition just for the sake of power.

"This unholy alliance need to be exposed, BJP and PDP has entered the alliance only for the sake of sharing power as they have nothing in common," president of the Pradesh Congress Committee Ghulam Ahmed Mir said addressing a day long session of the state youth congress delegates today.

He said that the present dispensation was the combination of the forces that are ideologically poles apart and have secured the mandate to keep each-other away from power.

"Surprisingly they surrendered the respective ideologies and issues of people to join hands for the sake of power, which exposed their politics of opportunism" he said.

Accusing the BJP of exploiting the sentiment of the people of the Jammu region and the entire country on the issue of Article 370 he said, "for the last 67 years, they claimed to be following the agenda of Shama Prasad Mukherjee, but for the sake of power they gave away all these issues."
