Police probe pasting of anti-election posters in Bramullah

 Police on Wednesday said it had registered a case and taken up investigations to trace the people responsible for pasting anti-election posters in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Srinagar: Police on Wednesday said it had registered a case and taken up investigations to trace the people responsible for pasting anti-election posters in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

"Police has registered a case and started investigation to trace out the persons responsible for pasting anti-election posters in Sopore town," a police spokesman said.

He said after observing some anti-election posters pasted in main town Sopore, police registered a case and started investigations to trace the offenders.

In this respect few suspects are being questioned, the spokesman said without divulging further details.
