Retired police officer injured after being shot at

Srinagar: A retired police officer was shot at and critically injured by suspected militants in Batamaloo area of the city, police said.
Abdul Hamid Bhat, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, was shot at by the militants while he was coming out of the mosque after offering Friday prayers, the police said.
Bhat has been admitted to a hospital in a critical condition, they said.
