Teacher washed away in flash floods in Udhampur

Jammu: A school teacher was washed away
in flash floods in the Tawi River in Udhampur district of
Jammu and Kashmir, officials said here Tuesday.

Kewal Krishan, who had gone for picnic along with his
friends, was taking a bath when he was washed away in flash
floods in River Tawi in Udhampur town last evening, they said.

Police has launched an operation to fish out the body,
they said.
