Three trans-border smugglers slapped PSA, sent to Jail

Jammu: District authorities have slapped
stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) against three trans-border
smugglers and suspects of Khalistan Zinadabad Force (KZF).

On the recommendation of the police that several cases
of trans-border smuggling, extortion, attempt to murder and
absconding cases were pending against them, Jammu District
Magistrate M K Dwevedi slapped PSA against Darshan Singh,
Satnam Singh alias Tony and Parvez Kumar here, police
officials said Monday.

The accused were sent to jail for a period of one year
under PSA, they said, adding that during interrogation the
trio had admitted that they were linked with KZF group.
