Vigilance organisation files chargesheet against policeman

Jammu and Kashmir State Vigilance Organisation on Monday filed a chargesheet against a police personnel arrested for taking bribe.

personnel arrested for taking bribe.

The Vigilance organisation filed a chargesheet against
assistant sub-inspector Mohammad Sultan Bhat who was arrested
last year for accepting bribe in the court of Special Judge
Anti-Corruption here, SVO spokesman said.

Bhat who was posted in Zakoora police station on the
outskirts of Srinagar, was caught taking bribe of Rs 1500 on
March 3 last year.

He was suspended immediately and is out on bail
presently, the spokesman said, adding the court has fixed
March 22 as next date of hearing in the case.
