Gang engaged in loot and robbery busted in Jharkhand

 A gang engaged in making bombs and unleashing terror with sole motive to loot and robbery was busted with the arrest of one of its member in Medininagar in Palamau district, police today said.

Medininagar (Jharkhand): A gang engaged in making bombs and unleashing terror with sole motive to loot and robbery was busted with the arrest of one of its member in Medininagar in Palamau district, police today said.

Police arrested one Sonu Khan late last night in course of an investigation being carried following the recovery of a crude bomb from Kasab Mohalla under Medininagar police station yesterday,

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Prabhat Ranjan Burwar told newsmen.

The police conducted raids in various places of the town last night and arrested Khan, who spelt the beans during the interrogation, the DSP said adding that the gang comprised of eight members were engaged in making bombs, terrorise the people while looting or committing robbery.

A hunt was on to arrest seven of Khan's accomplices, who were at large, he added.
