Ranchi: Heatwave conditions on Thursday continued unabated in Jharkhand with Palamau recording a maximum of 45.4 degrees Celsius.
According to MeT office, Garhwa experienced 44 degrees C, a drop from yesterday's 47.32 while Palamau also saw a drop in the mercury from yesterday's 47 degrees C.
Deogarh and Godda districts registered 42 degrees C, while Lohardaga and Pakur experienced 41 and 40 degrees C respectively.
Ranchi (39.4), Gumla (39), Latehar (39) and Jamtara (38) recorded a slight drop in the temperatures, it said.
